Firefighters and police called to Christchurch 'incident'

Fire and Emergency NZ have responded to a "serious incident" in Christchurch.

A Fenz spokesperson said five fire trucks were called to reports of a house fire at 3.10pm on Epsom Rd in Sockburn.

The fire crews have been working with police and an ambulance was also called to the scene.

"Some cordons are in place while emergency services work at the scene,” a spokesperson said.

"There are no reports of injuries."
