Derek passed away peacefully at home after a short illness, on August 14, 2024, aged 52 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Paula, and the late Jane-Marie, respected Dad of Sam, and Jackson, and stepdad of Samuel, Grace, Josh, and Tom.  Treasured son and son-in-law of Dorothy and the late Bob, Dennis and Lyn, brother and brother-in-law of Stu and Andie (Hamilton), Tracy and Greg, Donna and Brad, and a much adored, hard-case friend and workmate of many.
