GOVAARS, Winky: It is with heavy hearts, that we announce that Winky has ridden her last bike ride. Loved mother of Nimesha and Shaani, and son-in-law Jonny. Much-loved Oma to Milla, Mia, and Macy. A very special sister to Jenny, brother-in-law Lloyd, and big Sis to Maryanne, and me ole mate Mally. Loved Aunty of Tristan, and Nick, loved Winky to Owen, Victoria, Poppy, Oscar, Maz, Rach, Isaac, and Benji.

Winky’s infectious laughter, zest for life, knowing every PO Box # in Christchurch, and love of cycling, will be remembered always. Winky, we know you’ll keep biking up there, as there is no stopping you, so keep those big wheels turning…and ring that bell so we can hear you down here and shout out “there’s WINKY”.

We will miss you terribly, you made people feel so special, always portraying kindness and empathy. You even biked your own surgical equipment back to the hospital, our wee trooper.
